FAQs
How do shade net clips work without drilling?
Fold the net edge over the pipe, rod, post or wire, then press the two halves of the clip together over it. The gripping nubs lock through the mesh and the clip clamps itself in place – no holes, screws or tying needed.
How many shade net clips do I need per roll of shade net?
Space clips every 30-50 cm along the edge, closer together on windy or exposed sites. That works out to roughly one pack of 100 clips per 30-50 metres of edge – choose a larger pack for a long greenhouse or polyhouse run.
How far apart should shade net clips be spaced?
As a general rule, space clips every 30-50 cm along the edge of the net. Use the closer end of that range, nearer 30 cm, on windy or exposed sites so the net doesn’t pull loose between clips.
Are these shade net clips UV resistant and reusable?
Yes. The plastic is UV and weather resistant so it won’t go brittle in the sun, and the two-part clip opens and refits cleanly whenever you move the net – reuse it season after season instead of cutting and replacing ties.
Can these clips be used for bird netting and greenhouse film too?
Yes. The same clip works on any netting or film you can fold over a pipe, rod or wire – shade net, insect net, bird net, greenhouse film and tarpaulin all clamp down the same way.
